A personal, non-exclusive license to use WishBank.

Last updated: May 3, 2026. These terms govern use of the WishBank.ai website, download flow, and Mac app.

Plain-English summary: you can use WishBank for your own gift planning. The Mac app is not a time trial: it includes 5 recommendations for each of the first 2 people with no credit card, then a $19.99 one-time license. You cannot reverse engineer it, resell it, share license keys, abuse it, or use it to violate someone else's rights.

Acceptance

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using WishBank, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use WishBank.

License

Subject to these terms, WishBank grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the WishBank Mac app for your own personal or internal gift-planning use.

License keys

After the free recommendation allowance, continued use may require a valid license key. License keys are for the purchaser's own use and may not be sold, shared, published, transferred, or used to bypass payment. WishBank may validate license keys online during activation and occasionally afterward. We may suspend or revoke keys that are shared, abused, refunded, charged back, obtained fraudulently, or used in violation of these terms.

Restrictions

You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, models, algorithms, or internal logic from WishBank, except where the law does not allow this restriction.
Copy, modify, distribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, host, or commercially exploit WishBank without written permission.
Remove copyright, trademark, license, or proprietary notices.
Bypass payment, license-key, download-link, access-control, or usage-limit systems.
Use WishBank to stalk, harass, surveil, or invade another person's privacy.
Use WishBank in violation of law or third-party rights.
Interfere with the website, download flow, Cloudflare Workers, R2 storage, payment flow, or other infrastructure.

Your content and local data

Your local conversations, exported profiles, and reviewed clues remain your responsibility. WishBank is designed so the local workflow does not upload raw messages to WishBank.ai. You are responsible for having the right to access and process the conversations you choose to review, and for deciding what clues are appropriate to keep or act on.

Privacy

Use of WishBank is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains the offline use, email download flow, license-key checks, Cloudflare service providers, and Stripe payment processing.

Payments and free recommendations

WishBank provides up to 5 recommendations for one person with no credit card required, then shows a license suggestion card. If you add a second person, WishBank can provide up to 5 more recommendations. If you try a third person before purchasing, WishBank shows the license suggestion card rather than more recommendation cards. If you choose to remove those limits, the Mac app is $19.99 one time and payment is processed by Stripe. Taxes and refund rules may be shown at checkout or in the app. Stripe, not WishBank, collects and processes full payment-card details.

Third-party services

WishBank may rely on third-party providers such as Cloudflare for site delivery, Workers, R2 downloads, and email sending, and Stripe for payments. These providers may have their own terms and privacy practices.

No professional advice

WishBank produces gift-planning clues and prompts from local evidence. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical, psychological, or relationship advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether a clue or gift idea makes sense.

Ownership

WishBank and its software, website, name, design, text, workflows, and related intellectual property are owned by WishBank.ai or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership of WishBank to you.

Feedback

If you send ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feedback, you grant WishBank permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. Do not send feedback you consider confidential unless we have a separate written agreement.

Updates and availability

WishBank may change, suspend, or discontinue features, pricing, download links, or support at any time. We may provide updates, but we are not required to do so.

Termination

You may stop using WishBank at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, bypass payment, create security risk, or use WishBank unlawfully. On termination, your license ends and you must stop using the app.

Disclaimer

WishBank is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, WishBank disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, WishBank will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption. WishBank's total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to WishBank in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify WishBank from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of WishBank, violation of these terms, violation of law, or violation of another person's rights.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we will update the date above and, when practical, notify users by email or in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
